Have kids will AFK (Nagrand Oceanic Alliance) is a Social Guild for players who understand that others may have young children and associated life commitments that impact on the time & effort they have to play. If you’re easy going, understanding of unexpected AFK’s (e.g. to tend kids), enjoy WoW as a game then this guild could be for you.

The idea Malos and his wife had was to start this guild was to have players that understand and accept that when you have kids/babies to look after you may need to suddenly AFK without notice. Also you have a very limited time window to play (e.g. while kids are asleep, between feeds, etc).

They wanted to run instances but don’t want to PUG and have to afk/leave/wipe because a kid wakes up and needs them. That’s not fair to other players unless they know full well that it may (likely?) happen.

So they thought to have a guild of players that are in the same boat (if they have young kids too) or are at least aware of our situation and are understanding of it (if they don't have kids) and being in such a guild means you can reciprocate that understanding if we're not the ones to AFK.
And hopefully have a laugh at it and keep having fun and be supportive of each other.

They also wanted the guild to put no pressure or expectations on its members (as having kids is pressure enough) so the atmosphere is very relaxed (e.g. no must raid).

All that is expected is to show respect and courtesy to fellow players, display mature sensibilities and to keep your sense of humour about the game.

Please be aware that HKWAFK is NOT a Raiding Guild. We do however have many members that are interested in end-game content. Occasionally we will raid, but most of our Raiding Groups are Progressive, and priority is given to more established members of the guild for fill in positons - IF positions become available. If you prefer a more structured and regular system of raiding, we unfortunately may not fit your requirements.
