Officers
Rank Admiral
Description Guild Master
Purpose Administration of guild and guild web site and the one to blame for anything wrong.
Example Malos.
Rank Vice (Admiral)
Description Highest officer, can act as Guild Master
Purpose Has almost the same privileges and responsibility as Admiral and should be treated like the Admiral by guild members.
Example Admiral can delegate Admiral like tasks and rely on Vice in their place.
Rank Banker
Description Guild Banker Manager
Purpose Manages and runs the guild bank.
Example Keeps guild bank organised and is the point of contact for requesting extra/special items from the bank.
Note Guild Banker holds this position in the list of ranks not as an indication of rank, although they are an officer, but rather as a safety precaution so no one gets accidently demoted to Banker.
Rank Captain
Description Guild officer
Purpose A leader within the guild that assists with guild management and has responsibilities above Lieutenants.
Example Helps the Guild Leader with the running of the guild and liaisons with guild members when the Guild Leader is unavailable.
Rank Lieutenant
Description Guild officer
Purpose A officer within the guild that assists with guild management.
Example Helps the Guild Leader with the running of the guild and liaisons with guild members when the Guild Leader is unavailable.
Non-Commissioned Members
Rank Chief
Description Highest non-officer
Purpose Members that contribute a substantially to the guild, have been in the guild for over 8 months.
Example Proactively helps other guild members in-game and on the guild forum.
Rank Sergeant
Description Regular guild member
Purpose Regular active member, has been in the guild for over 4 months.
Example Regularly plays and is an active member of the guild.
Rank Corporal
Description Guild member
Purpose A guild member.
Example An official member of the guild.
Rank Recruit
Description Trial guild member
Purpose To see if we like each other. This trial period lasts about 2 weeks.
Example Just joined guild.
Rank Brig
Description Punishment - "put them in the brig"
Purpose A form of "time out" or "naughty mat" punnishment
Example Reduced permissions to virtually none (i.e. unable talk in guild chat). When players have served their punishment they will be reinstated to their previous rank
