FAQ

q. Which server are you on ?
a. Nagrand Oceanic

q. Horde or Alliance?
a. Alliance

q. Do guild members have to raid?
a. No, there is no pressure members to do anything (other than be nice and have fun).

q. Do guild members do instances?
a. Yes when we can. As you might expect when young kids are part of your life getting a one hour block of free time to yourself is precious and rare. And mostly time playing WoW is dotted with brief AFK’s – Thus the name. So anyone doing instances with us should expect at some stage to have us AFK (at any time) and therefore not get upset about it. Our kids &/or real life is more important than a game. BUT our online friends and other players are important too (otherwise we wouldn’t play) we just have to strive for a realistic balance.

q. Can players without kids join the guild?
a. Yes of course. Anyone is welcome as long as they understand the nature of how we have to adjust our play-style to suit this stage in our lives with young kids. Which usually means inappropriately timed AFK’s and very limited hours we can play. Having an easy going nature and a relaxed outlook on the game I think is essential for anyone wanting to join the guild.

q. Is there an age limit to joining the guild?
a. There is no age limit imposed on joining. BUT, as the guild was set up for and consists mostly of parents, I require that the younger players be able to show a good level of maturity in both their attitudes and communication skills so they can best fit the culture of the guild. It is recommended however, that you let us know upon joining if you are a child or teenager.

q. What are the guild rules?
a. Please read Guild Rules & Advice

q. What are the key points you look for in members?
a. A good level of maturity in their attitude and communication to other members/players.
A relaxed and easy going attitude towards the game.
Being considerate and understanding of other members/players.

q. Does the Guild Raid?
a. HKWAFK is NOT a Raiding Guild. We do however have many members that are interested in end-game content. Occasionally we will raid, but most of our Raiding Groups are Progressive, and priority is given to more established members of the guild for fill in positons - IF positions become available. If you prefer a more structured and regular system of raiding, we unfortunately may not fit your requirements.

q. Is it a mothers group talking about dirty nappies all the time?
a. No. WoW is a way that we can escape and have another interest/hobby.

q. How do I join?
a. Fill in our Application Form or contact Nianii.
Contact info:
Application Form - http://www.havekidswillafk.com/guild_application/apply
Email - nianii@live.com or ingame Nianii

q. Are there any Addons guild members must install?
a. No.

q. How do I gquit?
a. Gquit is cool. Peoples needs change as they play WoW and everything has a beginning and an end so if you feel it's time to leave the guild then we wish you the best and hope that any friendships don't have to end with gquit.
I always appreciate feedback as to why you choose to gquit; as I it's hard to know what we're doing right or, more importantly, wrong without it. And it's polite to say a little goodbye rather than just find a member gone next time I log in.

Cheers Azarul
